As part of Mid-Continent Public Library's ongoing Capital Improvement Plan, the North Oak Branch was rebuilt to provide a modern, welcoming space for the Kansas City community. The new three-level facility features expanded gathering spaces, dedicated children's and teen areas, and a unique design inspired by the natural beauty of oak trees.
Staco Electric partnered with JE Dunn Construction to provide comprehensive electrical construction services throughout the new facility. Our scope included power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and electrical infrastructure supporting security, audiovisual, and building control systems.
The completed facility provides a bright, functional environment designed to support learning, collaboration, and community engagement for years to come.
